Care City New Month/Week Leadership Message
The Power of Confidence
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." -Eleanor Roosevelt.
Unshakable confidence—this is the number one leadership attribute you must develop if you ever want to amount to anything in life.
Confidence simply means believing in "YOU!"
You are your first fan.
You are your biggest cheerleader.
You are your first student.
You are your first customer.
You are your first love.
You are the most important person in your life.
If you don't believe in who you are and what you can do, then you are finished. Simple.
People who have robust confidence will always win in life.
Even if they fail, they will easily pick up the pieces because they believe so much in themselves.
They know failure should never be an excuse to stay down, give up, or complain.
It's easier to detect and use opportunities around you if you are confident. Your mind is alert, sharp and ready to take on new challenges, grow and become better.
Confidence is not pride. You aren't haughty or naughty; you just know your self-worth. You know what you are capable of doing, and you don't just know, you have enough energy to DO!
In the healthcare ecosystem, confidence is one quality healthcare professionals must have.
You may have the required skills needed to perform certain tasks, but a lack of confidence will keep those skills locked up, depriving those who should benefit from your abilities and in turn short-changing you.
No one is saying you should pretend or lie.
Confidence simply means that you believe in what you can do, and if you can't do that stuff now, you will do it if given the opportunity to learn.
It's the "I Can Do It" mentality.
Next week, we will examine how you can develop confidence if you lack it.
Now, take a look at some of the amazing content we have curated for your reading pleasure.
Catch you!

EvolveHealth Media: Digital Marketing & Branding For Healthcare & Health-tech Brands
“Healthcare media re-imagined.”
EvolveHealth Media is our latest project at Care City. The idea is still in the laboratory [we don’t even have a logo yet]. We hope to launch before the year ends [or earlier if things go as planned].
We believe that healthcare brands need to be more social. They need to build community around their unique services and products. It’s not just about selling, it’s about the relationship your brand has with customers or consumers.
A time is coming when consumers of healthcare products and services will only approach healthcare brands that truly care about them and not just their pockets.
EvolveHealth Media is here to make it easy and smooth for healthcare brands to build communities that trust and love their services— we want to do it with the help of media & social tools.
